From my own experience with my body, and from listening to so many dear clients at the Reiki Ranch, I’ve come to a deep and simple truth: any disease we carry is almost always the result of what we eat, what we drink, and the environment we live in. Your body is not your enemy. It’s your faithful companion, always working to restore balance and heal itself. But in today’s world, it’s fighting an uphill battle.

We’re surrounded by toxins.

  • In the food we eat – pesticides, preservatives, genetically altered grains, and food-like products that no longer resemble nature’s bounty.
  • In the liquids we drink – chemical-laden sodas, “treated” city water, and artificial flavorings and colors.
  • In what we put on our skin – lotions, soaps, deodorants, and cosmetics that seep chemicals directly into our bloodstream.
  • And even in the air – chemtrails, pollution, and off-gassing from building materials in new houses.
  • The ground beneath us is not immune either, with heavy metals and chemical run-off leaching into our food supply.

When we add all of this together, is it any wonder that the body becomes overwhelmed?

Your Body’s Burden of Toxins

Think of your body like a river. When it’s clear, fresh, and moving, life flourishes. But start dumping waste into it—day after day, year after year—and eventually that river clogs, slows, and grows sick. Our bodies react the same way.

Fatigue, brain fog, aches, mood swings, and eventually “diagnoses” all trace back to a toxic burden that’s simply too heavy. Your body whispers with little signs first, and if those whispers are ignored, it eventually has to shout.

The Path Back to Vitality

The good news is: your body also knows how to clean house—if you’ll give it the chance. When you eat pure foods, drink clean water, and surround yourself with healthier choices, you’re partnering with your body’s natural wisdom.

At the Reiki Ranch, we see how energy healing helps, but we always encourage folks to look at the practical side too:

  • Choose fresh, organic food whenever possible.
  • Filter your water.
  • Be mindful of what you put on your skin (remember, it soaks straight in).
  • Spend time outdoors in fresh, moving air.
  • And don’t underestimate the power of love, joy, and a calm spirit—your emotions shape your environment just as much as physical toxins do.

Illness can be a wake-up call, a sacred invitation to return to harmony with yourself and with nature. Each symptom is your body’s way of saying, “Please, lighten my load.”

When you see disease this way, it no longer feels like punishment. It feels like guidance.

Your body is always talking. The question is: will you listen?
