As the December 2007 Chehalis River Flood Waters reside, Roi and Taylore got out the four-wheeler to see if they could ride the five miles from the Reiki ranch to Adna, Wa. They were checking on the neighbors to see if they could help out in dealing with flood damage.
The flood waters carried away and killed whole farms of sheep, cattle, destroyed a few homes, small buildings and tons of yard furniture all washed away. Thousands of homes flooded with a foot to 12 feet of flood water. Luckly no humans drowned in our area. And the Reiki Ranch had the 9 inches of rain but was out of floods way.
Our little mountain stream flooded with the rain and changed it’s path. We like the new path of the stream. It goes around the Reiki Ranch meditation area. There are devas and earth elementals (nature spirits) hanging around the stream. They help humans, plants and animals.
On Bunker Creek Rd. to Adna and Hwy 6 to Chehalis, WA 98532. Several large communities were cutoff from driving to town. That wasn’t too bad considering the 1000’s who were under the flood waters. Next time I want to get a boat so we can help out sooner.
